Water Use Efficiency
The Gold Ridge RCD collaborates with its partners to assist agricultural operators in conserving water, providing water use audits and assisting with alternative water source development, irrigation efficiency improvements, the installation of wind machines for frost protection, or other measures.
These services are currently available free of charge for landowners diverting streamflows or pumping near-channel wells in the Dutch Bill and Green Valley Creek watersheds, and on a fee-for-service basis in other areas.
